## Key facts

- Base URL: https://tranzak.co — endpoints live under /api/gateway/v1/.
- Auth: header `X-Api-Key` (tk_test_… sandbox, tk_live_… production). Keep keys in environment variables only.
- A payment is confirmed only by a signed webhook or by GET /payments/{transaction_id} returning status "completed" — never by a browser redirect.
- Sandbox needs no real money; use a tk_test_ key. A sandbox events feed (GET /events) lets you test without a public webhook URL.
